ISO 9002 Registered

Okay Industries, Inc. has achieved ISO9002 and QS9000 Certification and has been registered through KPMG Peat Marwick LLP.

OKAY has previously been recognized as a certified supplier by its major customers and has continuously met the requirements of MIL-l-45208A since 1986.

OKAY is Registered QS9000:1998 for the manufacture of metal stampings and assemblies. OKAY received its certification to ISO9002 in 1996. OKAY'S Registered Quality System extends to all areas of the company's operation, from senior management strategic planning to all administrative and manufacturing functions. The systematic pursuit of continuous improvement and an objective measurement of customer satisfaction are among the many commitments the company has embraced to maintain its certification and remain competitive.

After observing some of our ISO certified customers apparently lose important flexibility as they documented procedures, Okay Industries adopted an implementation policy that procedures must be designed to serve the needs of the business. As a result of this policy, there was a great deal of participation to assure that procedures not only complied with the ISO standards, but also enabled us to provide excellent service to our customers.

We believe we have become a better company as a result of implementing an ISO 9002 compliant system. We have found that a good internal auditing process is the main ingredient to remaining compliant and finding ways to continuously improve our procedures.
